No one is going to like to play against us with Fabio, Naughton, Park and Mackie all working their bollocks off, we arent going to be an easy team to play against.

Actually I call them that pretty consistently on here, but don't post about them much, such is my completely senseless and illogical loathing for them. I'm in the Col camp on this one.

I don't want to sound slightly overfussed here... but ..... anyone else think we're making or attempting too many signings? I thought we would go three or four max. We're at six already.
Warnock tried to sign him on loan last summer but he chose to join Norwich. Can't see us signing him this summer, we don't really need him

A shame. I loved it, cracked me up as we're on the same wavelenght on this (50% of my mates ar Liverpool fans living in the past). Well, those living in denial can be hard to turn. Please don't give up mate, give it a go when they make their first signing and/or talking about being contenders again before the big kick off.
Who out our FBs? Onouha who should be CB, Traore, and Fabio. we need another FB and Naughton can play both sides. Naughton could well be our 1st choice RB.
They are not all real Nines. There are 95 names on the Speculation thread, so far we have signed 6 including Park and Diakite and a loan in Fabio. We've spent somewhere between £5.5m to £8.5m, depending on how much Park really costs - think there is a bit more in the kitty yet. How many have we released 7 or 8? And Hughes said before the the transfer window opened, he likes to get players in before selling, so I expect another few to go. Still think we need a RB and a CB, but would love a signing totally out of the blue, that none of us had even expected. The concern is getting a team with so many new faces to gel quickly. So much for Scouse humour Swords.
