I didn't have a choice in the matter, my mate back in my RAF days had a few lads around for the CL QF vs Chelsea in 09. A friend of a friend turned up, took my keys and thought he would nip out to get some cigarettes in my ****ing car. Drunk and without a license, crashed it and nearly killed himself. He's still paying for it now. Cheers btw.
No mate I'm 60 moles South of you down the M5. If we are being posh the it's one of the Polden villages, if not then it's just outside of Bridgwater!
Ahhhh, so youve got the accent then......And a Zider drinker to boot no doubt........ We used to get mashed up, and then ask for directions in Bridgwater, could never make any sense of the results......Im in Clevedon so just a few junctions up.....Growing up around here everything thing was either pool or Everton...Yoi do see a few Bristol city fans about now, but never find any Man Utd, Chelsea or Spurs fans abouts......Its not a bad place to live..lol
Been based down here for over 30 years on and off - so I can say "Where's he be too" with the best of them! But born and bred in Liverpool and Liverpool will always be where I think of as home. As for the cider then I'm presently enjoying Stowford Press but there's still lots of good farm ciders available locally. I can just about remeber when you could get a pint of Taunton Draught for 6p a pint!!
Billy that was in the early 80s. If you tried to hold a conversation with some of the old lads who had drunk cider all of their lives you had to have a lot of time on your hands. Somehow the cider had effected their synapsis so it was like the time delay you get after a joint! (great moments of silence)
I know nothing about time..........delays after smoking......joints Enjoyed the motors thread lads been a good one...a mans motor says a lot about him
2 wheels allowed? This is my '98 K1200RS, it's got shaft drive, ABS brakes, tele-lever suspension, heated grips. Not bad for a 14 year old bike. Oh and I love giving it a good going over on a Saturday afternoon, the paintwork that is.
Ditto, gear box was on it's way out so I got rid quick Central locking had packed up too PS - my was subaru blue
