Me and my wife had to go to London yesterday. We had to have twin to twin transfusion treatment. One twin was taking too much blood, and the other not enough. Theys only a 10% chance of it happening with identical twins and yet again lucks gone against us! The Surgeon in Londons suppose to be one of the best in the world! The twin that was recieving too much blood was close to heart failiure due to the fact it couldnt cope with the excess blood. That twin now is on the mend hopefully, but the other one is at risk now. We have found out they are boys. Please say a little prey for us. In 18 years time i hope to be watching them play at the SOL from the stands!
****ing hell mate, that is awful. All the best, from the bottom of my heart I won't pray, as I'd be a hypocrite.
Dan, I don't know what to say lad except that I hope to God everything turns out well. My ex wife went through misscarriages with me. I'm not really a religious man but I hope for the best for you both.
Thanks lads, im not usually a religious man, but if you could all make an exception tonight then id be very grateful!
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kypros_Nicolaides This is the surgeon that done the treatment, so we were in the best hands!
Thanks mate, hope to be meeting my dad at the Reading match if ur going? Im planning on buying 2 Sunderland babygrows that day!
I cant do prayers mate as that would be hypocritical of me but I have something better. You have my entire support and hopes - family to family; father to father that your boys are okay.
Hope your dream comes true T and we are watching your boys in 18 years time. Thoughts are with you and your family.
Thanks Billy, we've had miscarrages aswell but this is diwn to bad luck. It only happens to 10% of identical babies! Anyway theys no point in feeling sorry for yourself, I have every faith theyre are gona be little fighters!
It is amazing what they can do nowadays. I'm sure everything will turn out OK. You will remember this when they try to con you by pretending to be each other!
