Why has it been reported (if true) that Huw Jenkins has had to give him an ultimatum, and yet again a player of ours who has raised doubts as to his desire to stay makes no direct comment that he wants to remain here ? and its true that he was Rogers signing and even when playing poorly was never dropped as far as i can remember ? so he could wish to follow Buck to pool .

He still has a season left on his contract and if he wants to go we can cash him in sooner rather than later giving ML more money in the transfer market, which could make a difference to who he goes after .

It is the silly season and i know us fans are always the last to know and its a business and he wants whats best for himself not us so he could be stalling to maximise his options before making a decision .Its between them to sort it out not us but i think HJ has learned from past dealings what he`s up against !

I have nothing but a feeling that he will go and if he does we have to get a replacement who can adapt quickly to our play but going on his performance last season that may not be as difficult as we may think with the largest pot of gold we`ve ever had available.

As i said it would be a pity if he does go , he has been a good signing for us and may yet be able to do even better for us in the prem next season. I hope my feeling that he will go is wrong but the chance for big wages at a big club if on offer may be worth the gamble to him at his young age.

So is he loyal to the swans well he does have shifty eyes and his mrs seems to be a bright city lights type to me and maybe wears the trousers <laugh>

It might have been Rodgers lips moving but it was Jenkins doing the talking when players were warned about sitting on the last season of there contracts after Pratley & De Vries left . Rodgers may be gone now but players readying themselves for their last season , without resigning a new contract , will be shopped around & sold for profit if possible . Every few million will help down the road Daiswan

In 1974, the Warsaw radio tower was erected, at 646.38 m (2,121 ft) becoming the tallest structure in the world of its time. It collapsed in 1991 because an error occurred in exchanging the guy-wires

we must start contract talks with key players much earlier than we are doing because once a player gets to just one season left then the player has the upper hand and can wait to see what comes along. as it stands now we dont know what is happening as sinclair knows we wont get much for him and it works out better for him because anyone who comes in for him will get him on the cheap, we lose all the bargaining power because i dont suppose sinclair will mind that much what happens as he knows he can walk away free after the next 38 league games anyway. If players are key players then we must put them on 4-5 year contracts with a renewal option after 3......the ball is in our court and we must decide if he dont sign very soon to either cash in on whatever we can get for him whether it be liverpool or anyone else or we keep him and let him go for nothing at the end of the season.......we need to know before pre-season training starts next week so we know where we stand....

    "Clearly the man about town".

    I really can't fault your evaluation there,Yankee.

Scarlett would need some serious courting,I think, but my culinary suggestion would no doubt carry the day.

All pretenders for her affections would be found wanting.

My only problem is with regards the choice of wine to accompany the feast.

    Any suggestions?

    Sweet Sauterne,luke warm,of course.?

Or a well shaken bottle of Asti Spumante? :emoticon-0116-evilg
