it;ll be ok, because we'd still do the double over them would be great to see the EA derby back in the top league but then again, you have a good point........
I don't want to see them relegated to League one, but at the same time I'd rather they weren't promoted either. I'd quite like the current arrangement to continue for as long as possible, with the occasional league cup/FA cup between us so we can have a derby every now and then
Getting relegated to League 1 can be a positive thing and overcomes the 'stale' state that is possible in the Championship. Some teams have really benefitted from the experience and of course NCFC, Southampton and Man. City are shining examples. I will never forget though the heartache of looking for Norwich on the footy sites and having to scroll through to the third tier. We were the better for it but it was bloody hard!
I notice that the usual suspects have voted for us to get relegated! A bit harsh Yellowlittle, little by name and little by nature!
Your purple patch lasted from 1986 to 1995 We then overtook you again for another 9 years! Check the record books sunshine
Fair point but what about the likes of Plymouth and Bradford! Personally I couldn't care less if 1p5wich suffered relegations to the conference.
I miss the derby. Was always the first thing to look for on the fixture list. Whilst I don't want them promoted, or us relegated for at matter, I would like a competitive match up. Here's hoping a home meeting in the FA cup and away in the carling cup.
So the 80's and 90's were not really dominated by either side then (is basically what you are saying) The 90's is a 50/50 split and 60/40 for the 80's is hardly dominance.
I would want to see them in the Premiership with us. Failing that, seeing them relegated to League 1 would be somewhat satisfying.
Over the last 50 seasons you have finished above us 14 times! Even with this little run you are on now its going to take another 22 years for you to catch us up. Somehow I can't see that happening
Huddersfield have won more trophies than 1p5wich. Does that make them a bigger club than Norwich and 1p5wich?
Who mentioned anything about being bigger? The overall stats between Ipswich & Norwich confirm that we have finished in a higher position more times than you and have won more matches between us!
