    Who says Norris and Varney are direct replacements for those two? Every time someone gets sold everyone assumes the next player coming in is his "replacement". It was pissing me off last year when we sold Schmeichel and everyone was banging on about Rachubka being a **** replacement. If the YEP are telling the truth then Simon Cox is more probably Rosco's direct replacement, with Varney coming in for Danny Webber.

    Wonder if Mika will find a new club? Will there be any desperate clubs like us last season who couldn't assemble a squad properly, so have to scramble around for free agents in September?

    I tell myself this however I have to question why this kind of quality when you could keep what we already have as back-up assuming the takeover goes through. Norris, Varney and Cox or McCormack, Clayton and Cox

    Agreed, there is something missing here.

    It is strange to say the least, unless the transfers in talk is just a smokescreen to camouflage real, more expensive targets which will happen after the takeover is completed.

    For me, Bates' silence is a strong indicator the takeover is real.

    It was more just a response to the Saints fan talking about Lambert being a £1m striker who will stick in 20 odd goals and can play on the wing.

    They like to tell you that they have the most people supporting them on not606.
    They're probably the 5th biggest club in Yorkshire but they like to call themselves the biggest club in West Yorkshire.
