Thought it might be different to do this with a lot of young talent on show. Brazil have named their squad-Sandro is there and a few that have been linked with us. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/18726324 Thoughts?
Argentina have called up some bloke called Messi, apparently he's supposed to be pretty tasty so hopefully we will have scouts looking at him
If we announce a triple signing of Leandro, Oscar and Uvini, would that qualify as sock off-blowing news? Of the two midfielders we've been linked to, Ganso and Oscar, the better option seems to be Oscar - they play in the same position and role, but Oscar is just as effective despite being two years younger, yet Ganso's value has been jacked up to £20m+ when Oscar can be signed for £8-12m. The only difference is Oscar is right-footed, Ganso is left-footed.
In many ways we should be looking for a right footed player, given that two of our most technically gifted players, Bale and VdV are lefties already. A world away from the situation 5 years ago, when we had no lefties in the squad.
As many have posted Oscar is valued at £8-12mil what's to stop his club saying- well since it's Spurs his price is now doubled. He's an international an Olympian etc Wonder if AVB has tickets to the football or will have to watch it on tv like the rest of us?
