I've only got a little hatchback... please log in to view this image if only. I drive a 1.4l seat ibiza 2006 reg. Does the job, ok mpg 35/40 and it shifts a bit but showing it's age a bit, 2006 seems like only last year!
ive just been given a vaux insignia from work. its alright apart from ive been driving a 106 for 12 months. It now feels like im driving a double decker bus through town. and can i fuock park it. i have never been laughed and pointed at so much in the past 2 weeks. i feel like a women, some fella actually knocked on the windosw today and asked if i needed help.
The trouble is, there's so many poxy little cars around these days, they only leave poxy little holes when they move on. I've been driving estates for years and the only time I can find a space big enough to get the bastard into is when everyone else has gone home. The donkey's ok though.
I had a Fiat Cinquecento - great little car with an 850cc engine. Bought it for Herself but she wouldn't give up the Renault 25 Monaco. Drove it from Santander to Malaga even the freekin lorries were passing me going uphill!! Drove it round the Costa del Sol for a couple of years and fianlly sold it to a Spanish chef for the price of 2 flights home to the UK.
Nice choice of transport alex,is that a carbon frame? I'm getting about on my Cannondale badboy disc at the mo, a few years old but still goes well. (i don't have a pic.)
Thanks mate. Yeah tis carbon. Weighs around 8.5kg with pedals. Looking to upgrade this winter to something a little lighter for those nasty climbs. Something like this http://www.westbrookcycles.co.uk/bi...cott-addict-r15-compact-road-bike-2011-p81551
Not really a car buff... I dont even have a favorite car......... So I have become king of the cheap and nasties.........I currently drive a P reg red fiesta, which has seen me good for two years with no problems......Not bad for 95 quid. (Mates wife cheated so he sold me her car for basically nothing.) Last car was a Toyota Carina - Bit like Nissan Sunnybut not as flash.... Before that I had a Red Rover 216 SLi, which I cunningly drove into a wall, (after the bonnet flipped up in my face whilst driving.) - Supposedly ythat happens if you use you car as a way of compressing a three seater sofa so it fits in the boot.) before that I had a silver Rover 216 SLi, which the wheel fell off..Proper off, when driving down the road...brilliant. And before that I had a white polo, which was actually younger than the car i drive now..... Will have to get a new car soon though as got a tyre replaced last week and they said they couldnt do the tracking as the steering is ****ed....I asked the obvious question,' Are the wheels going to fall off?' they said no, and Off i drove... Think im going to get a van next, for all my fishing gear and to smuggle more wlesh immigrants into the south west....
How come you gave up the type R Zingy? Nice motors them, the older models much better than the new one as well just had a 12 plate 1.6 fizzer as a hire car this week and its actually a nice drive, didnt get chance to give it a boot though firstly because the M6 on a friday afternoon isnt exactly conducive to doing anything over 20mph and secondly because I had a bloody Speed Awareness Course only last week Nice bird btw
