So, Liverpool play Toronto fc in Fenway park, July 21, followed by Roma... They conclude the tour against tottenham in Baltimore. Unfortunately, I am a poor college kid that can't afford a trip and ticket to any of these games. Bluff, as you are in Ohio, I know you will be relatively close (relative in comparison to me in Texas,) and I was wondering if you were going. I do suspect the two Americans in the youth squad will be given, if nothing else, a few minutes in at least one of the games... Thoughts?

I had plans for Tottenham in Baltimore but a good friend of mine is getting married on that day and I can't really miss it. Plus, I am saving to head over to the mecca either this X-mas or possibly spring time. <ok>

Fair enough. Hoping that I'll get to watch either when they come the next time or, more preferably, the military brings me to England and I get to watch live at anfield (or whatever it'll be called at that time :( ...)

I think they will be around again as long as FSG are in charge, not too worried about that. I would already be spending a lot for travel to the places, might as well just take that onto a long trip across the way, stay with some mates in Durham, Birmingham, and Bury and see some prem footy or lower league even but mainly Liverpool. <ok>

I don't know if you either of have been to a preseason tour for a European clubs tour of the states, but their actually a lot of fun. Neither team takes it too seriously until the MLS teams reserves get on. They use it as a place to prove themselves. I particularly enjoyed the Galaxy's reserves completely outplaying Man City's first team for a good half an hour.

Are you going this year? Like I said, would love to see it in either my Gerrard or Jose Enrique jersey, but I'm just a poor college kid trying to scrape by... Maybe I'll save up for next time :D

Yeah I'm gonna try and get tickets to the Galaxy vs Tottenham game. I'm hoping Omar Gonzalez gets a few minutes in that game. <diva>

The Galaxy's situation with out Omar is like Man Utd's without Vidic, except no one in the Galaxy's back line stepped like Johnny Evans. It's painful to watch lol.

haha, i wish man, but would rather see the game in Liverpool instead to be honest. Plus Suarez won't be there, doubt Stevie will play much, no Lucas, barely an agger sighting. I want to see the best playing.

  11. True, but then I think that will be the case every pre-season. We never use the stars straight away <ok>

PS - I had to miss a Liverpool game whilst the mrs was in labour with our first, didn't stop my listening to it though <laugh>

Never said phone wasn't going to have live text going <ok>

I'd like to see them at Anfield with the atmosphere and prefer a good game but know tickets can be hard to come by. Gotta find the hook ups!

If it makes you feel any better, for me to go to a proper game I would have to get flight, hotel, and then the money for food, beer, rides. <yikes>
