To watch football, of course, in particular Leeds United.

    Why not?

To watch leeds is fine but I just think the place is dirty and miserable, doesn't help with the weather. Although I am thinking of London and its a far nicer place outside of that

Are you going to Leeds or London or both?

<laugh> yea that should be a good match, nothing like getting 3 points eh?

I'd plan away from London if you could. If you haven't been there before then it can be alright I suppose but I grew up living there and hate it probably more because of it

London's awful for anything other than a daytrip, and even then you'll only want to visit the airbrushed parts! Leeds end at Millwall is always very quick to sell out, so you'd be stuck with the Neanderthals, although I'm sure some of them off here would help you with tickets if you wanted.

Saturday 24-Saturday 1 taking in Palace, Leicester (home) and Huddersfield (away, never sells out even for us) games might be an idea? All decent fixtures and could base yourself in Yorkshire which has good transport links with Manchester, London and all sorts of other places you might want to visit like the Dales/Lake District/Peak District. Be a lot cheaper than staying in the Capital, and there's always loads of Leeds fans from abroad staying over in the city centre hotels, especially in periods like that one where there are clusters of local games all together.

Thanks guys, I have spent time in both London and Leeds and had a great time in both.

I will be going through the UK in mid-November and coming back through late December so I have to decide when I will just pass through and when I will stay.
