I've been up since 5am this morning..and now my daughter is on her way to Israel for nearly 4 weeks...a fantastic experience for her, and a stress free month for me...yay! lol Meanwhile, i've been thinking. Morning all, very overcast with the odd shower or two this morning. Great weather if you have a new lawn (pitch) that you want to grow, but if you have one already that just wants to keep on growing you do hope for more very hot days. The last time I went to Italy I found that they sold bread not by the loaf but by the weight. If that applies to footballers then we could be feeding them up a bit. From yesterday, Kenneth Williams, got to be the best comedy actor this countrys produced(if you ignore the 'Carry Ons')! Had many face to face dealings with him tho in a previous job,sadly like so many funny on stage he was always miserable and just a bit rude.Probably not too well even back then , pale faced would be an exaggeration ! (2) Famous people: Vera Lynn, Jimmy Edwards, Jimmy Clitheroe, The Bachelors, Hank Marvin, Ray Davies, Judith Chalmers, Janet Street-Porter, Mark Ramprakash, Colin Croft, Tony Blackburn, Hilary Benn...it's an odd mixture and a fair few of them were a shade more interested in themselves than me, though Ray Davies and Hilary Benn were definite exceptions.
