Just from nowhere....all my own idea....came this idea for a thread My favourite cheese is St Paulin...just love its tangy rind and creamy but firm inner self Whats yours?
Beat me to it..... Grrrrr!! St agur and jarlsberg, perfect mixture for alternate biscuits! Washed down with a nice Pinot noir. Yum
Great idea Beth. Your a genius. I like that triangle cheese that comes in foil. Only kidding. A bit of a Blue Stilton kinda guy myself.
A nice blue cheese - Stilton, Roquefort, Gorgonzola - accompanied by a few glasses of Port. Lovely. Or....some manchego with honey and a chilled white Rioja. Where's WBA?
A really tangy Canadian Vintage Matured Cheddar, black pepper thins with Piccolo cherry tomatoes, lovely jubbly...
Manchego is well nice with fresh raw broad beans. Should be pecorino but manchego is a good alternative.
In England strongest Chedder i can find over here Jumbo Kaas (cheese) comes with salt crystals ingrained and is made in 80 kilo rounds hence the name.
Cheddar kinda guy myself...partial to a bit of Gouda though...and Manchego too...also diggin Feta lately....ooh, a bit of camembert every now and then too...definately a cheddar guy though Greece eats more cheese than any other Nation apparently...fact for the day.
To be patriotic (please don't hit me Swords!!! ), I'll go for one from the region where I reside, Jarlsberg. Mmmmmmm lovely
Inspired thread Beth, absolutely inspired. I’m another blue man, a creamy Stilton, Gorgonzola, Dolcelatte or St Agur. However I am also partial to a strong, mature cheddar or, as a starter, a baked Camembert. I do love cheese.
