I was not whining about Rangers songs, you accused Celtic fans of doing that. I can re-post the quote again if you like? At least you admit to bringing religion into this so let's deal with your main point "OF COURSE ITS ****ING CELTIC FANS GOING TO THE POLICE". "The Scottish champions were also fined 40,000 euro (£35,558) by UEFA's control and disciplinary body as a result of the actions of fans at the away leg of the Europa League tie against PSV Eindhoven. Rangers were also fined the same amount and ordered to play their next home UEFA match behind closed doors for the same offence in the home leg, although that sanction was also deferred for a probationary period of three years." Celtic fans? I maybe a pathetic WUm but you've been wriggling on the hook for the last couple of days, you need to step away from your PC and go have a lie down until you can construct a coherent argument, I suggest a Rip Van Winkle style kip may not be enough in your case. The Rangers fans on this forum who know me will be cringeing at your pathetic assumptions, it seems that to you every Celtic fan is some faux Irishman, a Catholic and an IRA supporter. If you want to make things up or simply make statements about Celtic fans (I'm one) without being aware of all the facts then prepare to be insulted on each and every occasion, it's the least a simpleton like you can expect.
Blah blah blah, WHO GIVES A **** WHO YOU SUPORT, were trying to have aserious ****ing talk, and someone who by his own words does not supporter Rangers, kepps butting his inbred head in to talk **** and disrupt the coversation. I dont care what you religous nutcases , keep saying to each other, the people in England look down on the RC v Prostestant bollocks with complete and utter contempt. So you kee on banging on about all you want , your the only man in the room shouting! Twisting on a Hook? WTF are you going on about, this is an internet message board, you cant do **** to me, what you going to do call the Police?? will you get a ****ing grip , you ****ing nutcase, what you going to do get your mates to hunt me down and beat me up. GET A ****ING GRIP!! Back to the orginal question Rangers should come down south, although what it would do for inbreds like you, with an obvious ****ing hole in your lives to fill , remains to be seen
Do you have friends, in real life? You're a sneaky wee helmet that dodges questions when you're caught out. I've got your cards marked. Ps. What's with all the chapter related tags?
Good God this thread is ****ing nuts. I would hate to see Rangers go into the English league as we are a Scottish club. The English do want us nor do they want Celtic. Both sets of supporters may goad each other mentioning Manchester and the IRA party favourites, but why would English clubs let us in when with our collective fan bases allied with TV and sponsorship money would mean that we would rapidly climb the divisions at the expense of home based clubs? I would far rather we go down to Division three and start again with young Scottish players who want to play for the club. I would actually just go voluntarily so we can have an end to all this sanctamonious and hypocritical claptrap about "sporting integrity". The club should have paid it taxes, end off. I admit we were badly led and a lot of what has happened is wrong. I wonder if the other clubs will therefore all want to pay back the money they earned of the back of our supposed, "tainted titles". I mean by this the European money earned by our raising of the co-efficient enabling more Scottish teams to enter Europe. I mean because of this we got two Scottish teams into the champions league for the first time in 2002/3 and Celtic went on from there to reach the EUFA cup final. Should they pay all the money back as they were there unfairly by association? I know this can be countered by opposing fans saying that we robbed them of the opportunity to win with EBT's and so forth. Who's to know? I mean would they have won anything anyone if we hadn't had these players? Celtic could have possibly bottled it as they normally do and as for the rest Nope division three for me. It would also be a lot more interesting.
Me neither, English football is not the promised land, it's a very naughty boy. I see a huge financial meltdown happening in the near future in the EPL, why would anyone want to be part of that?
I would agree with you there. It's been coming for a long time down there I can't see how the whole Sky thing is sustainable in the end anyway. It's impact is now being shown in their national side now with very few homegrown players in the EPL. The national team thing is extremely reminiscent of Scotland in the 90's after the Bosman ruling when any decent Scottish prospect could not get a game in a team full of third rate Eastern Europeans. I suppose it's slightly different as the EPL is at least full of talented foreign players. We only had a of these handful up here, but the net result is still the same, the home based players and the national side decline. Another reason for Rangers to go to division 3 and build upwards. We can have a better national side.
I would agree, the top players in England receive vastly inflated wages despite being nowhere near as good as their compatriots in Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal...the list goes on. I would have to say it's been like that my whole life. When I was young all you heard was how Banks was the best keeper in the world, Moore was the best CB and Geoff Hurst, Nobby Stiles and Charlton would walk into any team in the world, all pish of course but the English media love to perpetuate the myth that English footballers are among the best in the world. As for their league, it's exciting and fast paced but i'm Scottish and Celtic are a Scottish side, so to are Rangers and their place is in Scotland.
Ach well they didn't have the money in these days Dev so it was all about hype. Remember back in the 1970 world cup how Bobby Moore was forced to go shoplifting to buy beers for the squad? **** I'm sounding like Harry now!
with rangers out of the spl now it will mark the end of scottish football as you know it, everyone is a loser and celtic will lose the most. all interest in tv football outside the two clubs playing have gone and less TV money that celtic rely on for attracting good players has gone...nobody is interested in watching scottish football unless its rangers v celtic. without that the revenue will drop drastically that many scottish clubs will now go to the wall in the near future...talk about biting your nose of to save your face.......what a drastic decision that will destroy scottish football in the long term....
I don't think rangers should be given a place in the league down south, in fact no Scottish side should. The reasoning is twofold, this will basically lead to a British League and maybe a British international side. But as Scotland has a vote on independence how can you justify joining a league when Scotland is looking to break up the UK. Double standards! I wish you well as a football fan, but I'm glad that they meted out a punishment fitting the absolute disregard your former owners have displayed.
Stop talking sense Those taig accountants have already said they will thrive without competition and getting a lot less money than they already get
