As other have said, he can never be forgiven. Personally, I hope that he suffers an injury prone career that all starts off with a clattering, crunching tackle from Tiote (which Chiek gets away with), that makes Woodgate, Owen and Ledley King look like superfit triathletes, and / or wastes his talent. Because he was one of us who had the chance to do what we will only ever dream of, and he turned it down for cash.

Last night I like most was shouting and swearing at the TV when he scored, but what pisssed me off is it should have been scoring goals for us not Liverpool.

I can understand the hatred.

He was 4 months into his dream 5 year contract with the infamous number 9 that we all as fans highly respect and covet.

He may as well have wiped his arse with it and then thrown it into a bin such is the respect he showed it.

He is a great player. He simply should have been a great player with us for longer.

 

I hate Carroll so much at the moment. He deserves everything that he gets when we play Liverpool. Why did he even bother signing a 5 year contract if he's just going to go at the first opportunity? Still, £35 million to play with in the summer, we could sign someone that totally eclipses Carroll for just £15 million (I'm thinking Kevin Gameiro from Lorient). The jokes on Liverpool anyway, £35 million for a player who's scored 13 goals in the Prem and 19 in the championship?

 

**** that. Carroll's money grabbing turncoat antics will always hurt me no matter how much time passes. He turned his back on his home club where his heart should have been. The manner in which he done it makes it even worse - he saw the £££'s and spat the dummy and launched toys everwhere when he didnt get his own way.

Here Tash--Carroll wasnt brainwashed by agents n advisors about Champions League football and better England prospects. These are facts at the minute. We are miles behind Livberpool with no sign of any significant investment. Thats probably(along with the money) why he left. I am gutted he's gone he could have been our No. 9 for next 10 years.
But we are now a sselling club-e.g. Milner and Carroll, so we need to accept that these things are going to happen. I don't hate Carroll but he should have waited till the season was over before he jumped ship-making sure we were safe first.
I wouldn't advise telling supporters what and what not to do. Who is to say we will lose anyway? Forget that stuff. If not careful you'll end up dictating like CNoPussy on the Mackem forum wont you !!????

 

We are not miles behind Liverpool at all
The Premier League is ****ing ****e this year and we have a threadbare squad that is the only difference between the two teams this year IMO
and if we can get about an 80% first choice11 we have a cracking chance of giving Liverpool a run for their money when we play each other soon.
