Jerel, you are a negative lad aren't you? I have my info from close to the club, I will be meeting with club execs in August to help them with planning certain things for the future. All I did was relay info as it came along, nothing else. If you can't accept that then that's your issue. My original post a WHILE ago was headlined BATES HANGING ON which basically said it all, Bates was seeking investment and then suddenly found he was being offered a buyout, against his wishes. Well, it so happens this is now looking like the end game. In between there have been twists and turns as Bates pushed for a deal that would suit him, also trying to play different suitors against each other. In the end only one had the cash required to satisfy Bates, and on we go. Sorry I haven't been able to put youtube videos of meetings up for you to ponder over, but that would have been a bit unprofessional. Glad this is all coming to a head, but I won't believe its done until the ink is dry simply because its Bates after all.

Fuck off. As for what's actually going on, BiG's confirmed the person taking over will be Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed al Khalifa, part of the Bahraini ruling family. Apparently the family are big Leeds fans since a member lived in England and fell in love with the club - he was the same bloke trying to buy us around the time of our Premiership relegation.
In defence of this part, I too have said I don't believe LUST know who the new owners are and that they know little more than the rest of us. It is looking more likely that I am going to owe them a big apology because everything is gathering momentum which suggests that I am totally wrong.
The information web appears to have been thus: CLUB EMPLOYEE > Leeds fan > Other trusted Leeds fans including LUST > Snippets of info on the internet > Us.
"Wolf! Wolf!" I do love a load of BS. At least TC has the gall to admit he made his stuff up just to WUM us. And very professionally and credibly too. However, I do believe BS is just passing on what he has "heard" from his source. That's not to say his source hasn't been lying through their teeth to him the whole time, in their own vain attempt to claim to be in the know and have some lapdog slobbering at their feet, begging for more information. As such I don't "blame" BS for anything other than naive gullibility and a narcissistic craving for others to now believe him and worship his every utterance.

Two points: A) there are two Fawaz Al Khalifas in the Kuwaiti royal family, and B) if you'd secretively just wrapped up a massive deal for LUFC, you'd hardly want to let the whispers spread among Leeds fans by agreeing with or ignoring some bloke on Twitter, would you?!
