FFS. I might be going out on a limb here, but it's not unrealistic to expect the games administrators to administrate and make a ****ing decision, is it? If they leave this to the SFL to make a decision, then the game is well and truly more ****ed than i first thought.
It hasn't bothered them so far what people think it looks like and their excuses have been piss poor - i woldn't put it past them
There isn't anytime to delay it though. No vote today would mean it will be very likely rangers are not going to play any football next year imo.
Neil Doncaster was interviewed on Radio Scotland this morning and was 'inconclusive' in his response when directly asked if we could expect the result of the vote today. So, dinny hold yer breath.
Dunno. Possibly these ****wits hope that if they delay it longer the problem will be resolved for them and we'll end up on a season long hiatus.
It was that attitude that allowed david murray to sell the club to craig whyte. We ask the tough questions, maybe you should to. Like what role ticketus have over ibrox?
It's a ****in shambles. And the shambles seems likely it's going to roll on till next week for the SFL vote. The gutless ****s.
They're basically trying to bribe*, bully*, force the SFL to put them in Division One, while at the same time trying to get away with not having to vote themselves. Don't really see the point though. Clubs who have come out publicly against Rangers in either the SPL or SFL have already ensured the financial implications that come along with it. *In a morally bankrupt but technically legal sense
Delay the vote, then the SPL vote becomes a parachute should the SFL clubs not vote as instructed/bullied. Fixafuck. I also notice that these doomsday scenarios assume that Newco would only spend one season in Div1/SPL2 - so, what happens if they're in danger of not winning it?
just vote and if its a "no" deal with the fall out fans arent renewing season books at the moment as it is!
Same as they would do if we were voted into the SPL and were in danger of relegation. Fixafuck redux. Beyond a ****in joke.
Regan and Doncaster have come to the conclusion that the only solution is a historic double-promotion for NewCo won in an office - the delaying of the vote for the SPL is another tactic to put pressure on the SFL clubs. Just when the whole thing couldn't get stinkier, it's taken on an additional whiff of Shieldhall strengths.
My dad once told me when I was about 8 that, if Celtic or Rangers were in danger of being relegated, the SFA would amend the rules (a la River/Argentina) - I didn't believe him - it was the first time I can remember thinking "Aye, right" to something my dad said. It's looking like he was right. "Game" is a bogey. Fans of all clubs including Rangers overwhelmingly want the normal rules to apply now. I think today is even worse than the day the SFA ****ed up the original BSB/Sky deal for the benefit of 60-odd gates at Gayfield.
