It looks like the club now has more things to worry about. http://www.kentnews.co.uk/news/30k_in_unpaid_bills_forces_gills_to_leave_training_ground_1_1431151
The amount of injuries that place has caused us, I suggest the local authority compensate us. Why do the local authority have to make everything so public about our club. Do other utility companies follow the same media spot light on unpaid bills. If we owe the money, we need to pay up.
I do get the feeling they have gone public with it for exactly that reason. The fans are irate at the moment regarding the lack of a manager, it is public knowledge we return to training on Thursday and they make the day to move out Friday? Something tells me the money will be in the councils coffers pretty sharpish.
what the f*** are you at scally, why would any half decent manager want to come to our club...oh am i saying, they won't half decent will they ! over a year and the bill not paid, scally you do yourself and gillingham fc no favours at all i thought part of the whole reason hess was joining up stairs is so club affairs could be dealt with get a grip scally...FAST !!!
Yes it is not ideal but Medway Council know precisely what they are doing, talk about publicly waving a big stick at us.
Love how everybody jumps straight on Scally's back and instantly go against the club. One side of a story. We go through this little dance fairly regularly, usually about the police. Someone at the council has it seriously in for Scally and the club at the moment.
No but we don't know the full story. But the timing of the release by the council must have been with the intention for fullest negative effect. Why only bring this to light now?
I respectfully disagree throwoff, it is the precisely the landlords fault. Did you see the length of period this has remained unpaid? Never trust the media and especially a local authority that continues to publicly use the media to its own purposes. Are Medway trying to tell us they have not found means of resolving this in the last FOUR YEARS? Well in that case sack all their chiefs and get people in there that can resolve it promptly.
I tell yer me and lads will be down there later with our caravans protesting, roasting a few councillors over a BBQ Bloody tax payers should be grateful of the fees our horses have saved the local authority on grass cutting.
Disapointing to find out about this, hope we sort this out would be a shambles to have nowhere to train but the blooming preistfield! Still after a new manager and some new players there will be new hope!
This is not good!!! Might take our minds off the lack of manager for a while though lol. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18703824 UTG
