    Absolutely, agree with that. As long as the price is right I think we should go for it. Much more exciting finding gold abroad than paying over the odds at home.

    Fair play to them, looks like some slimy agent wants a piece of the pie.

    Theyve left it up to buttner to sort it out himself or he get no move. I wish every team did this.

    The Dutch clubs seem pretty firm on being mucked around. That defender who's gone to Spurs had his deal held up because his club refused to give him a cutof the fee. Good for them.

    Well done 12thman on finding the original thread and posting this on it. It's beginning to pee me off the amount of people starting new threads on subjects that already exists. This happens a lot lately even when the current topic is still at the top of the pile.

    Good job we werent in for this guy, everything was agreed and then some 3rd party parasite wants his slice of the pie and the player wont go for the medical until he gets it.

    Vitesse have told him to sod off so at the moment its all broken down.

    "Last Friday Vitesse came to an agreement with Southampton about the transfer of Alexander Büttner to the Premier League club.

    "Because Büttner himself also agreed on his personal conditions with Southampton FC, Vitesse was in the supposition that the transfer was a fact, with the proviso that Büttner would pass a medical examination.

    "However, in the course this weekend the player informed Vitesse via his agent that a third party had a supplementary demand towards the club.

    "Vitesse gave to understand to the player that it would not comply with that demand, since it was applied in retrospect and Vitesse will not be pressurised.
