Morning Everyone, First things first, I was heartened to see posters / mods from the Leicester / Hull boards jump to our defence, when that vile little cretin (no need to pump his ego by mentioning his name) came back to our board in the last few days to wind us up. Suppose you guys are not that bad either. It was appreciated lads. The Diouf rumour is doing the rounds again, could he be our next signing. Following the mellee in the tunnel at half time between Leeds on donny, the CPS have decided not to charge Diouf. This could pave the way for Warnock to sign the 31 year old thug, thoughts? Aidy White has been stongly suggested to be THE player who wanted 15k to renew his contract at ER. He is out of contract now. With new owners hopefully iminent, should it be a priority to resign him? Could the takeover happen today, has anyone heard anything?

Morning all. I would sign White immediately. He gives us three things that our level of money, whatever that might be - Oh please let the takeover happen today - Youth, pace, development. He's a long way short of the finished article, but he can & will get better. He has time on his side to grow into a Leeds legend. Most important of all, he has pace & plenty of it. On Diouff, I really hope he doesn't come our way for all the reasons I've previously stated. A vile little sh%t, who should have been banned ages ago. Any news on outgoings?
Morning all. Diouf is a quality signing at this level, but I can't stop thinking back to Warnock's 'sewer rat' interview. He's probably able to put it behind him but will Diouf ? Personally I'd feel physically sick at the thought of cheering him on in a Leeds shirt one minute only for him to get sent off and spit at a disabled kid on the way off the field. Could well be more trouble than he's worth, is it really worth the risk ?

Elland, White may not necessarily be worth £15k a week at the moment. But a bit of fine tuning & improving on his crossing, & we've got a class act.

I think this would be a good signing, won every player of the season award going last season at Coventry and I think he is better than Peltier
Rumours now coming in thick and fast As well as the Richard Keogh one and the Diouf one, apparantly Warnock is trying to sign Tommy Smith from QPR, Luke Varney from Pompey and Luke Chambers has stopped his negotiations with Ipswich when he heard leeds were interested and is now weighing up a move to Elland Road
There is no way Aidy is worth 15k yet. If you give him that, every other first team player would need at least the same, rising to 30k for Snoddy. Then were back on the ****ing Risdale merry go round
Definitely wouldn't take Diouf, and I don't think we will. We should make re-signing White a priority, probably our best young prospect, there's a reason so many clubs are interested. Nice to see us possibly nicking a few players away from Ipswich's grasp rather than the other way round. Also, the fact Keogh's rated at £1m should tell us something.
But every other first team player isn't as good as him or anywhere near as good a prospect. Also, let's face it, he probably isn't asking for £15k/w, you know how Batesy likes to spin things.
The Leicester mercury have said Peltier will be a Leeds player in the next 48 hours So maybe your takeover is close or some money has been freed up
So our roster of centre/right backs next season could be: Pearce, Lees, (Kissa), Chambers, Keogh and Peltier. Certainly better than last season.
