I know these are a bad thoughts: Sean could have left and gone to Birmingham City, if the report of their interest was true. He could have left in frustration with Baz and his silliness. He could have had a freak accident and not been able to continue. For Watford to be nasty to a manager does not happen often, I think the last were Mike Keen and Ray Lewington, and I hope the new owners learn they need to do better with PR and to travel with the supporters good thoughts rather than against. Why are the club being so quiet?
Have the Italians said what their plans are yet??? Coz this ain't right. Pinche cabrones. One of their first decisiones and the wrong one. Mr 'nice' Zola had better get us off to a good start or he can f$%k off right back to Italian midget land where he came from. I know it is not his fault, look how nice he is..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Dyche has been robbed.
I expect Zola and his advisors to restructure our squad quite quickly, bringing in some Udinese and Granada development players, which might make some of our current players redundant--if Dyche gets a new job, he might well come back for some of them--as indeed might Mackay.....
Is there any limit on the number of foreign 'development' players who can appear in a Championship side?
No statements from Sean yet. The man has integrity good luck for the future and I mean it. The fans are a fickle bunch and some who were calling for Seans head 8 months ago are now feigning outrage at his being released. I'm sure he'll find the right next to occupy.
You have to feel for the Big man, will be missed on the touch line and his great post match interviews! Good luck Sean, thanks for all your efforts at WFC! Dychey's Taylor made Army, Dychey's Taylor made Army, Dychey's Taylor made Army, Dychey's Taylor made Army Gone but not forgotten
I don't think that Sean's Italian is too good and he does wear the occasional dodgy suit - apart from that a very promissing manager and decent bloke. I hope it works out for you Sean.
Where do you think Dyche will go? Now Tottenham have got AVB we can rule that one out. I know it is very early days, but are there any openings for a decent, gruff-voiced, Italian hating exhornet's manager?
There was a bit of a rumpus last week about Forest trying to get Fergie jnr. away from Posh. Just a thought.
i'm still gutted. I hate that we did this...i know..new management blah blah, it's football...etc..but none of these are good excuses. The more i think about it, the more wrong it seems..i just hope that Sean Dyche finds a good club to manage, and that he makes a darn good job of it... And i hope Zola gets off to a good start!
I'm as upset about this as the next guy but at the end of the day he's been paid (probably) a whole years wage AND he'll be moving on to bigger teams. He'll always have us to thank for that...
