If any of you haven't been following the discussions on other forums, BillyIsGod has confirmed the reliability of a source saying we should be 'very, very, very happy' with the new owners, that they're 'very fan friendly' and are pleased with the club's current financial status with regard to the Financial Fair Play rules because they want to build a sustainable future. The deal is now apparently past the point of no return and it's just a matter of waiting till the money's transferred to Bates' bank account, and it's nearly done. Just thought I'd pass that on and maybe alleviate a bit of the frustrated expectation! And I'm not BillysStatue-ing this, can provide links by PM if anyone wants them.

"No-one knows anything, even LUST know **** all!" someone comes on saying they've phoned their mate who knows someone who works in the Subway outside ER and have been given some cryptic message "OMG it's fallen through **** OFF BATES GAAAAHHH I'm going to throw myself off the Hilton unless the club tells us everything IMMEDIATELY!!!" Also yesterday they seemed not to know the difference between "by the end of the week" and "at the end of the week". The chocolate puns did keep me amused for a while though.

You need to post in boyspank at least 20 times to get clearance. To be honest, its not a bad sight to grab info off but thats about it. It moves so quickly and the format is dated.

"Wolf! Wolf!" So, the weekend came and went. Monday came and went. Tuesday came and went. It's now nearly midday Wednesday. There is only one thing I conclude about this. No-one knows anything. Not even Adam Pope, Duncan Castles, or Phil Hay. Prediction. I go to Spain on Friday, and it won't be sorted by then!
Warnock Just said on the Radio he was working hard behind the scenes, we've had a few bid for some of our players but not enough to accept them and we could see some players arrive in the next 7-14 days (perhaps indicative on when the takeover will go through?)
The fact he's stated 7-14 days makes it sound like it's down to the take over, although at this time of the season there's not really any need to chase things.
