He's joining Brighton and Hove albion? (sorry, but it's the biggest/longest name in english football)
"I'm certain that he is going to end up at a top club, but I'm not going to be drawn into speculation." Damn these guys are delusional. The fact that he's been on loan and has still not been bought up by anyone tells the whole story. Even after the Euros, there has been no rumours. These clowns need to get lost pronto.
You could also put football club after Brighton and Bournemouth.A lot of clubs also call themselves Association Football Club
Fair enough. Technically if he joined BVB Dortmund, he would join the biggest club in the world I think. Name wise. While I realise this isn't English it simply has to be the biggest name anywhere in world football... There is also a quite big one in Ireland: University College Dublin, National University of Ireland Dublin, Association Football Club
Bendtner going will not only be good for us financially but also for team morale too. It's about time we got rid of a few of our money draining dissenters. I include Flappy, Denilson and co in that list. I think we look like a soft touch for people who are content to join a club and get a healthy wage for doing feck all. As well as us actively looking for new talent I want to see us making a contious effort to be shipping players too.
Rumours abound that there will be a meeting to decide on RVP's replacement, at the beginning of next week. One of the possible options is Robert Lewandowski. Certainly no RVP but a very useful player nonetheless and a mad Arsenal fan. Worth a punt?
No! we need someone proven in our league, we will never find anyone to replace RVP so it pointless to try to do so. There are some very good striker in our league and by modifying our formation we could accommodate them with Pod and Girurid. Potential players that I would like to see include: Ba: Shown as a real goal scoring threat and can player with another striker so him and Giruird could be a decent partnership upfront. Dembele: There's talk of Walcott leaving and Dembele would be a fantastic replacement in my eyes as he offers far more to the team overall than Walcott. A front three of Dembele , Girurid and pod is a very attacking lineup in my opinion. These two players would not be to costly either and are proven talents in our league.
Well I guess one could argue neither Pod or Giroud or proven in the league, but that's neither here nor there.... We need another striker now for sure. I would go for Llorente.
Thats my point precisely, we already have two players who have no experience in our league so if we bring a striker in , he needs to be someone who has played in our league before. Thats why I said that this potential signing could be accommodated with pod and Giroud.
Bring back Henry? Ok ok I know... wishful thinking. Still I saw enough of him to know he still has what it takes to compete in this league...
If we could get Berbatov, I would be a very happy chappy, I think he'd really fit into our style of play, whether United would give him to us or not is another question though.
Lewandowski is quality but I very much doubt we'd fork out enough for him. Llorente too for that matter.
Well with rumours now rife that Walcott is heading for the exit door, we now desperately need TWO more quality signings. Unless of course, we are playing a lone striker up front. We need depth in this area.
