    Negative LG.

I think Lisbon is known for the "shh" after a lot of the words and I am pretty sure the x is that.

Kind of like with the Spanish X is "cha" Xavi- "chavi"

Meireles got loads of the shh in it as well.

Either way if he becomes anything like Deco than that can only be a good thing.

I still think Sterling could do with going on loan to Swansea or somewhere.

I think the pre-season friendlies will tell us if he's ready or not and if not then yes a loan would be good.

if we were lucky enough to get those 3 through as genuine players it would be as revolutionary to us as when owen and gerrard broke through or dare i say it when utd got giggs, beckham, scholes and neville in.

    Teixeira
I'd have thought the first e was short and the x would be a softer sound than we do it in English so it'd be Te-cshair-a for me. No doubt someone on the telly will tell us.
    Sterling
As has been said, he's a little lightweight and that would be a bit of a concern for me. Very skilful but up against the likes of JT, or almost anyone in the Stoke team, he'd run the risk of picking up a serious injury at a young age.
I think we've done the right thing so far in treating a valuable asset carefully.

From a neutral point of view from the bits of games, i have seen him play, he does look like an exciting young prospect.
People mentioning his size seem to forget players like Silva, Owen, Zola and Messi among others.

Sterling should be played in the friendlies then a few League Cup outings then off the bench when games are already won. The same with the other young players who are near the first team. There must be nothing more soul destroying for a young player to be given the chance when the team are losing or they come on when the score is level then the team lose. If they are only used off the bench for the first few league outings when the game is already won it will help their confidence no end.

There are very few players who can do an Owen and hit the ground running and if they make a mistake which costs us the game then their confidence will be shot for a long time

I have a feeling BR will use him as KK would've done this season, i.e. sparingly. We need to slowly introduce the younger players not throw them in at the deep end. I think Raheem will do well and toward the end of next season he may feature in a run of games (possibly as a sub). Exciting times for the boy! ;)

There was certainly a personality clashbetween Dalglish and Sterling last season, he would certainly have got more games under another manager,, proved after Sterling rejoined twitter the day after Dalglish was sacked

I would VERY surprised if Sterling isnt a 1st team regular at the end of the season, with the squad we have at the mo.Ability wise hes the best wide player we have at the club

Alos think he will make the England squad for 2014 in Brazil................if they qualify

IMO keep your eyes out for Teixeira too think he could feature a lot this season too in the 1st 11

yup way too much hype.. when michael owen had his debut i do not remember the entire anfield crowd on the edge of their seats and cheering them minute the ball went near him as per sterling.

If we had a decent side where senior players bloody did their jobs i suppose desperation for a 17year old to beat the world would be less.

I think he'll play 10-15 bit parts this season... if he impresses in preseason and keeps working hard.

personally id whack Suso and Sterling Straight in there....Been saying it for ages....

    We should play 433

    GK: reina
    RB: Johnson
    CB: Skrtel
    CB: Agger
    LB: Enrique
    CM: Suso
    CM: Lucas
    CM: Gerrard
    RF: Suarez
    LF: Sterling
    CF: Carroll

Defence is solid as we know, Midfield offers everything, and attack has a big man with a tricky pace threat on either side. Hope Brendan has the same outlook as me
