Incorrect. Both Brown and White are currently out of contract. Looking for new clubs. LUFC are not paying them any money, but have offered them new contracts. If neither sign them, they will not be paid by LUFC a penny. Not sure if either would be accepted at the training ground if they did not sign. Both are probably awaiting the outcome of the takeover in order that they can start negotiations again, but that timing needs to come quickly beefore they decide they can't wait any longer
Haha if my employer came to me n said I'll give you a new contract but less money I'd go elsewhere too the first few times we lost players cos of contracts we could blame the players but after that we know it's really all down to the **** contracts we are offering
White would have been snapped up already if he wasn't waiting for the outcome of the takeover, I expect both him and Snoddy to sign new contracts and maybe Clayton as well
In UK employment law if you're on a fixed contract and that contract expires, then you're still an employee of that company until you're given notice and that notice expires, or you had in your own notice.
Guessing the new owners will be in a plus two hour time zone? If so their banks will be shutting in 2 hours, that is unless they have moved the funds to a European bank in anticipation?
This article just proves Millwall are in awe of us...http://www.thescratchingshed.com/2012/07/macron-recycle-old-leeds-united-training-tops-for-millwall/
Highly unlikely I would have thought. Wouldn't Lambert want to hang onto him... unless Howson goes to Villa & we get Bannan temporarily to make space for JH. Still can't see it though.
Wouldnt suprise me if Bannan was well out of favour there the way he handled himself under McCleish. If Lambert had a word with his fellow jock he may want him out Either way, dont think he got a fair crack of the whip with us so I would have him back in a Leeds shirt
villa signed a moroccan midfielder the other day so could be a couple of their midfield leaving of lambert brings in more
http://www.inman.com/news/2012/07/2/sheik-finds-ny-digs-2-wives-15-children The prime minister of Qatar Sheik Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani has just spent $100 million dollars on 2 floors of an apartment block in New York. He could have bought Leeds, the stadium and 40,000 loyal supporters for less than that...
