He's brought in a new fitness coach and head of scouting with him - an assistant manager would've been nice, though!
All of our top drawer players fit perfectly into his style i think. At porto he played with a holding mid, a creative centre mid, an attacking mid, 2 wingers and a striker. Sounds a lot like parker, modders, vdv, bale, lennon and ade to me. He also played with attacking fullbacks which should suit Walker.
we dont have players running our club im glad to say PNP...those that think they do get a good roasting...ask Modric.
you name me one that isnt....i refuse to take anything from a chelsea fan with regards AVB..as your club is a dark blip on many good managers CV's..lets ask Ancelotti and the world cup winning Scolari..bottom line is your clb is run by the players ours is not...and if RDM was not already at the club..he would not even be considered...and i still wouldnt want him at my club..not good enough for WBA but good enough for chelsea..Football is not that predictable. plus chelsea fans are hoping for his demise once again so that they dont feel stupid so i agree..risky appointment for your club. Manager views by chelsea fans are null and void NULL AND VOID should i say.
made him sulk for a few matches then a big Levy boot up his arse made him play for us for a whole season wether he likes it or not and as we speak that boot is being polished again incase it is reqd on Modders again.
For those that don't know, his season at Porto was ridiculously good. He lost two games, to Sevilla and Villarreal, but both were in two-legged Europa League ties in which Porto progressed. Won 41, drew 4 and basically won everything. If he can repeat that, then I think we'll all take it! The media are starting on him already. Let's hope that he's prepared for a lot of stick from clueless ****ers.
Oh, ok. I had images of a couple of the senior members of the squad, erm, you know, roasting him. Lol Kaboul and King. Deffo the guys for the job i reckon. Shutting up now
Levy must be a genius or the biggest fool in football. Not my choice , but good luck , and hope the Porto form shines through.
Didn't want him at the club, and I still think that this is a massive gamble by Levy. Still, he is now officially our manager, and I will support him and stand by him. He deserves to be given a chance, and if he succeeds, I will be the first to admit I was wrong.
a bit of an old chestnut that last line.....not touchy at all..im on a forum and telling you what i think..JA606 is the alternative...you didnt say anything bad....but you said what i expect from 99.9% chelsea fans....something with a hint of negativity about their previous manager...almost like a vendetta to try to make AVB look totally useless just because you lot dont want to be proved wrong about his sacking knowing full well you gave him no time at all..had a Liverpool,Arsenal fan or any of another team said that then i wouldnt have even responded to it because i know they are saying it with no hidden connotation...so like i said when it comes to managers and Chelsea fans..there opinion is null and void for me.
What else should be noted is that he has a degree of control over his support staff - which he didn't at Chelsea, from what I can recall.
King coz he is captain and Kaboul because he is clearly the hardest member of the squad. Thats all i meant Who is the mystery 3rd? Did you miss the fullstop and assume i'd mistyped Defoe?
