Ken Bates, It never ceases to amaze why Leeds Ltd always come up in unrelated CAFC topics, so as predicted the theory continues... What with the modern curse of creative accounting & all that, your can't hand on heart say for sure that there are 4 secret backers can you..? Remember it wouldn't be a secret.
Nope - but Murray has said in the past he has met a ''few'' of the faceless backers. A few being more than 1 or 2.
... which adds up to 4...? He also told us we have "seriously wealthy backers". we may have, but that doesn't automatically suggest it'll be poured into the club... We are left to make our own conclusions. So it remains you & others will hold onto the belief that all things Charlton are & will be rosy, and the rest of us will stay with the fact that whilst the mysterons are in charge, all theories are up for grabs.
I think a minimum 4 due to the remaining split after TJ, MS, RM. There is 39% up for grabs, we know Newall was watching 9.8% of that. So I think the remaining piece of the pie is split in similar amounts because Murray confirms it's more than 2. But of course, it could be more than 4, hence why I say/think a ''minimum''. Said it before and I'll say it again - until I'm told otherwise, then I won't worry. Sorry!
No need to apologise, each to their own... Enjoy the mystery! More theory here... http://drinkingduringthegame.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/middle-eastern-backers-moving-into.html
I read that this morning - what am I looking at? Leeds and Nottingham Forest might have new owners? As I said before, before, until I get a message otherwise I am not going to be concerned.
Some other coincidences for the ostriches to read nothing into http://sticklebackplastic.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/san-roque-del-lepe-dont-panic.html http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2830605,00.html
OMG! We won't be playing at Sporting Lisbon's home ground after all - it must be a sign that something disastrous is going to happen...the new ground is 15 minutes away - we're doomed! Well apparently, The Massive Club won't be playing there either - http://www.sheffwed.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=285056 - and Albufeira is a good three hours away from Lisbon. Some posters on this site need to get a serious grip.
Someone at the club is paying Tewkes to derail threads about the truth, no-one can be as stupid as he's pretending to be on here, Wednesday's game v Sporting was always in Albufeira, the opposition isn't the issue, don't be a biscuit licker, the fact is we were due to play at a ground owned by Tony Jiminez and now we aren't, if you don't see the significance of that you're either the biggest gravel dodger on the planet or King of the Ostriches, Jiminez is on borrowed time mark my words.
Tewkes, you need opposing digits to be able to do that and I'm beginning to doubt that some of them haven't bitten their own thumbs off to prevent the end of the world or broke them off trying to loosen the nice jackets that nursey put on them. I thought that that the conspiracy theorists had reached a peak years ago with Kennedy but the truth will out that Jiminez supplied the bullets to Ken Bates in the book depositry. Doomed, doomed we will be playing conference football in the near future!
As I said on the deleted thread I think some people are just looking at the fact we have no signings in yet compared to this stage last season where CP was signing every target he wanted, mainly due to us being in the most attractive 2 or 3 clubs in the league. This season we are amongst many a club on a par with us so competition to sign players is a lot more greater than last season and with CP probably only wanting a handful of new players means shock upon horror we won't be signing a player every day as seemed the case last season. The only facts we can go on are that we bid for the Derby CB Shackell with the price circa £500k-£1m. That therefore is roughly our spending money on a player, we'd hardly be making those kind of bids if the club was heading to the rocks now would we? by the way nice to see Ackworth is gone, i'm one of those members who lost interest in this forum due to him lets hope it starts to pick up again
For those that are interested... More theory here... http://chicagoaddick.wordpress.com/2012/07/03/what-is-happening-in-the-boardroom/
I will never criticise CA's blog as I enjoy the read, but this doesn't tell us anything which hasn't already been said.
