no, another player from another club. like i say, i don't know this for sure but things appear to be piecing together in that way. either way, there is no hold up as some are suggesting - he'll still be a norwich player
According to SSN Barnsley have rebuffed what they say was a derisory offer from Norwich for Butterfield and are prepared to go to a transfer tribunal, but he should still become a Norwich player. Only age prevents us getting him on a free - he has rejected the chance to remain at Oakwell.
yep, just means there is a slight delay which is a little frustrating but nothing to worry about. no matter how much the tribunal settle on, it won't be as much as his true worth. excellent signing and i'm really excited to see him in action for us. the boy is a real talent
.......oh, that's a blast from the past, liz taylor if i remember. read the book which was quite steamy for its time, around 1962 i think.
If it's a similar tribunal to the ones against Norwich (eg. Gunn Jnr) we should end up paying in the region of 1k
pure guess, i'd say in the region of £800k-£1m just spotted this article about butterfield. it seems someone else has seen the 'glimpse of gascoigne' that i did... http://www.sabotagetimes.com/footba...her-about-their-new-gazza-jacob-butterfield/?
I was about to post that Supers, I'm not sure about the title of the rag though! Is it reliable do you know?
yeah, sabotage is written by fans and ex pros. some good articles on there. this piece was written by his ex-team mate, david preece
Sounds exciting. Shame we might not see him until Christmas. If he has the flair the article says he possesses, then he could be just the man we need.
Just to add its been confirmed by the BBC Sheffield local radio guy https://twitter.com/#!/Walkerpw/ Sounds like another Pilkington/E Bennett type of signing, could do well for us
there's a presser today at 3pm so we may hear more then, though i think its more likely to be for whittaker seeing as butterfield isn't formally complete
Could be earlier than that; he tweeted on 19/06/12, that he had the all clear to start pre-season as normal.
he's not really a number 10 though. wayne rooney is a number 10. this lad is more a number 8, if you get what i mean!
attacking midfielder, play maker, both-footed, ball-playing maestro with a cracking shot. sort of sums him up. all about getting him fit and making him a bit more consistent - all the pieces are in place for another potential england player on our books
