my 3 year old son had a city strip for his birthday last year and practically lives in it. I got him the away kit too. He knows the badge and whenever he sees it he gleefully shouts 'CARDIFF CITY' last week I was on the computer and he saw the new badge on the article I was reading. He said 'whats that daddy?' 'its the Cardiff badge' says I "No its not, it looks silly. This is the cardiff badge" he says point to the crest on his shirt I rest my case.
Can't argue with that Concerned, he'll get used to the new strip though. Kids are very adaptable, more so than adults.
concerned, your boy should appreciate the new badge more than most as it looks like it was designed by someone his own age
the whole kit is butt ugly>>>>my boy likes it mind .....i wonder if santa will leave some of his magic red clothing behind this christmas
Well i have been detailed off by Tom to hot foot it down to the stadium to get his new red shirt.......Well off i go then !!
Let us reds unite guys!.......we too have a new shirt and its fecking crap! just the usual case of "little Johny (or Dai) must have the new kit so lets change it again and reap the rewards again!" So how are all my old (not-so) Bluebirds?.........ready for the off yet?.......excited?.......frustrated?.......fed up?.....dont forget to collect your 6 points from us as usual boys, hate to break with recent traditions RED ARMY!
Good to hear from you Caldicot. My doctor who is a dedicated BCFC fan says she is convinced that you guys have turned a corner and will be a much tougher proposition next term. This woman is looking after my health!!! Do you think your boys will change to blue when they come to Cardiff this season? It would be a great wind up for ya!
Caldicot! Good to see a visitor from the dark side of the bridge m8. We are hoping to even the two games out a bit this season so are considering sending you the world renowned Mr. Gerrard by the looks of things. Last year was a year of rebuilding for us so this year is a year of what looks like .......uh! rebuilding for us.
CCR Good to hear from you. I fully expect your guys to have a much better season as your manager exerts his influence. A serious question: My wife is visiting her uncle in Caldicot this afternoon and talking about going for a curry this evening. So, Knight of Bengal or the one on the A48 just before you drop down to St. Pierre?
Hi Clingo mate.....jeez man change your doctor....QUICK!...she is obviously not fit for purpose!! I got to be honest, I just can't see us doing anything special this term, in fact, I forcast a bottom half finish for us again. Nothing to inspire me signings wise which leaves us with the same sqaud as last season....and we all know what happened there! Blue tops away at yours would be just class would'nt it!.....would love to see that! ITIWRAN...(that must mean something?)......any strength in the Gerrard rumour mate...been touted about a while now but so has loads of rumurs....my favourite being Ross McCormack to us !!.......laugh?.........I nearly taxed the car!
Hi Blue ......the one on the A48 by far mate! One of the best I have been to and loads of awards and all that....highly recomended. I think all I am clinging to this term is the new manager being a "new brush" and all that mate. Get ready for some more "thrusting" like we did with Gary Johnson! On a side note, I still say the funniest chant I have ever heared at the library (aka Ashton Gate) was your mob singing "you only bounce when your winning!" when we were...what???.....17 or 34 nil down was it?.....footy chants at its best! Good luck next season guys!
Does he know about your "thrusting" habits? Hope he is well prepared. By the way, travel for away games on both sides to be unrestricted this coming season other than no away tickets for sale on the day of the game. That should make for enhanced atmospheres at Ashtip Gate and CCS. What is happening, if anything, with your proposed new ground?
Can I see your union card please? Strange how things turn out mate. How different things could have been after your first seaon back at this level. What ifs eh! What's happening with regard to a new stadium? Every time I ask the doc she starts cursing at the council! I have to say, for us it really did play a big part in engaging new support and improving our profile. Of course, there was the inherent debt, but we choose to ignore that bit.
