Talking to a work colleague from Glasgow this morning (he's not in a good space being a Rangers fan). Known him a couple years from my time working up there and he's pretty reliable. Word doing the rounds up there is that MM and Miller had a big bust up in the last few days. Not sure of the original source or sunstance. Anyone else heard anything.
I haven't heard anything remote, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. It's probably his default, but Miller seems to be permanently grumpy. With things going so well, Malky will have to handle this one with care, but at the same time, leave nobody in any doubt as to who is boss.
It will be interesting to hear more on that. If true, why: - Miller's fitness on return from summer break Striker transfer targets Miller's position in the selection order Perhaps we will play strikerless like Spain Any other suggestions?
Concerned May well have done but with a 5 man midfield and Kenny "doing his own thing". Perhaps he was taking a leaf from the Scotland book and their 4 - 6 formation?
Wasn't that impressed with him. Played a few good games at the beginning of the season, but apart from that he was rubbish. If he left, I don't think the team would miss him.
Was full of optimism and belief when he came to us, then he proved ineffective, almost as if he was struggling to adapt to the championship (says a lot about the SPL). Much more confident when Mason was playing that we would get a shot away
To be fair to the guy, his work rate is immense. I also think we'd see more of him going forward if we had a couple of wingers to provide some width and create some space for him. He'd also get a different type of service.
