Watched the highlights of the game or should i say goals on the football league show just now and it shows what alot of orient fans are moaning about when barney looks to shout eff off to the them.I personally think that they are making a big deal about nothing as nearly all of them were shouting far worse at him when he scored, read somewhere that some bloke had his 6 year old daughter with him and that she was reduced to tears by his words, maybe just maybe she was in tears by the amount of fully grown men running down the stairs to shout abuse at barney. I know ideally that barney being the professional should just keep quiet but he's only human and what person can actually say they wouldn't of been tempted to tell them to eff off? What is everyone elses opinion on this?
I personally use the swear button couldn't they? .... On a more serious note the FA do not like that sort of thing do they? As for the man with a 6 year old daughter that was made to cry. Sorry that is a load of bunkum!! If people were running down the aisle swearing at Barney the chances are she was upset by that. In any case if a child is likely to be upset by someone swearing then what the heck are you doing taking that child to a football match!!!!! I don't condone players reacting to fans at all. I do understand they are human though. Lets just hope the FA do not take any action.
Post potato face's outburst any cussing esp' on camera is going to attract media attention and calls for 50 lashes etc. I think the answer is to develop some posh swearword alternatives so one cannot be done for un-gentlemanly conduct. Toodle Pip.
Didn't catch it so can't really say a lot. Fans are known to give stick and usually it is when they are on the receiving end of another defeat. They were disappointed and maybe more frustrated with their dream of promotion fading. That said Barnard has thaty edge to his game where he doesn't back down. Don't agree with him retorting back but can fully understand.
It's why Norman Stanley Fletcher said "Naff orf" in Porridge. Pre watershed swearing. It worked for them and it worked for me. That's all I've got to say on the matter so I'll **** off now. Whoops
I think players should be allowed to answer back to fans. Considering the amount of abuse we give them, I don't think any fan is justified in getting on a moral high horse about it.
it is true.............come on if he is guilty do you honestly think the club will stick by him? they will sack him
This little girl was probably crying due to the fact her team had effectively just been beaten and their play-off hope were diminishing???
