As a Saints fan who has seen our club start from the third tier in the 1950's I have seen some great times and some not so great. We have seen some great teams and some lesser lights. Good footballers and some great. There are a few clubs that will start the season hoping and praying that they won't be stuck in a relegation battle. Maybe as many as devonFRATTONiser has suggested but whatever the fates chuck at us i firmly believe that we will finish somewhere in mid-table. As for what the trolls think I am terribly afraid that their words mean nothing to me. Some of us are concerned by the spending of what we see as our likely rivals, but at the end of the day I have faith in the skills of our manager, and the quality of our illustrious chairman.
