It gives Berbatov a better chance of winning the golden boot which he deserves also Man City without Tevez are not that fearful. We can beat them but of course our focus is on Chelsea first. Saying that I would prefer to have Tevez and Rooney both playing as they are fantastic players. come on Utd we can do it
Good craic. Not only did City lose Tevez but they also played like dogs. All of which bodes well for Saturday!
Thankfully, they don't have Tevez and every time I see City play without him, they are not very good. I think it'll be 2-0 to Utd.
It won't necessarily mean a lot, but they were not a happy bunch. Milner practically threw a fit when he got subbed, Tevez is injured, Dzeko was toothless, and Balotelli was so bad he was subbed on and then subbed off. Hard to bounce back from a performance like that...
However getting humiliated by Liverpool may put them in a bad mood.Man United played like a team possessed after Liverpool beat 3 shades of ****e out of them.
That's how a team of winners reacts to a humiliating defeat. And let's face it, a team of United's quality being beaten by 2 clear goals by a mediocre outfit like Liverpool is quite embarassing. However, City are a million miles from United when it comes to mental strength and resilience. You make a good point though KPR. United have been unstoppable since the 3-1 at Anfield and it seems to have given us the kick up the arse we needed to push us over the finishing line. So in May, if you see Fergie lifting number 19 on the news, just remember that your boys played a significant part in making it happen
Played like a team possessed is a bit of an over exaggeration. We did Arsenal over in the FA Cup, but that was followed by pretty unconvincing wins over Marseille and Bolton. I'd say getting beaten by Liverpool was the spur for us to dig into our natural resilience. Which begs the question of whether City actually have any natural resilience, cos they haven't shown much so far this season. Our return to form was also boosted a lot by the return of crucial players like Rio, Vidic, Valencia and Park. In contrast, City have just lost their best player to injury on the back of a terrible run of form. So again, will they be resilient enough to cope with that?
City are ****e just like the nation witnessed last night. They have no one capable of scoring against us now average Tevez 15 penalties bumping his total up is ruled out. Balotelli would not even finish the match , let alone score, Dzeko is the funniest player I have seen in the premier league, makes that Jo look good. Yaya Toure is one fat lazy mercenary laughing his head off with a ã1 million monthly pay cheque. Joe Hart makes at least one mistake every week. Lescott is slow, Kompany is too slow, nigel de yong is so wrong and is basically a depressed bouncer. Kolorav thinks he is a winger. Boyata is just an average boy who wouldn`t get in our youth team. Milner, Johnson, Barry, and anyone else who plays for them are ****ing ****e. 4-0 to a weakened Man U team is on the cards. HAPPY DAYS TREBLE WINNERS 1999, 2011
I think you could win the treble, all you need to do is finish off Chelsea in the quarters, you'll win the semis and then all you've got to do is beat Barca ( the hardest part of all three of them) and you're done You'll probably beat Bolton/Stoke in the FA cup And you are on the way to winning the league. The treble isn't a bad shout personally!
