What went wrong against West Brom? Pretty much everything. What went right? Very little. However here's a tactical overview of the game, and perhaps shed some light on what Bruce was thinking on Saturday... http://www.rokerreport.com/2011/4/12/2105682/talking-tactics-safc-v-wba-h
I Didnt click on the thread cos Bruce aint got no tactics, just a longer contract,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,OUT.
I thought it looked, as soon as Bolo came on, that the balance in MF went out of the window. Balls came through the middle, I'm sure Bruce told Turner or Anton to come and smash the players running through the center of the pitch (because thats what they invariably did), leaving huge gaps behind the DEF, which is where both of WBA second goals came from. Tactics wrong. Also Mensah is wasting substitutions. This has to stop. Now.
roker, tactics were wrong and under performing players showed this more so. but did see somewhere on your site, something about bring carson back and sell gordon. who came up with that idea?
you may just be right there. don't know if it was someone working on RR, or someone suggested it. blinking daft idea if ever there was one
For the record, I wasn't for the move. From the limited action I've seen of Carson, I've never thought he would make it.
Thank you for showing my claim that zenden is the reason why we lost, he didnt track the Right CM's and all there play was from that side. 5 star
