Player to watch out for: Francis Coquelin. We have still not brought a DM, and this position is up for grabs, so Coquelin could step up and grab it.

Last chance to impress: Henry Lansbury

I think Lansbury has been finished with us for a while now. He's not good enough for us, i'd say he's a championship player.

Hopefully we will have augmented our ranks by then, with M'vila and one other player. I'd like to see us finish our transfer business before the Asia tour. Not sure if it's possible though...

Same. I don't have a clue what kind of team we're gonna field though.

Looking forward to the Asian tour. As others have said, would be good to have all our business done by then, and I don't see why that's not possible. The Asian tour is still 3 weeks away, that's more than enough time to bring in some new players, and I'd assume we will only be going for one more player (M'villa). By all indications we have been after M'villa for a while, so there's no reason why after all this time we can't get it done in the next 3 weeks, how long are we going to negotiate for? 10 years?

I'm hoping Joel Campbell is also brought back, and we see him in action too, he will be like a 4th signing for us.

didn't know where to put this but saw this bit of skill from one of our youth players at the community shield and think its pretty brilliant for a 14/15 yr old. Only like 20secs though so shouldnt take up too much of your time

    Another Denilson for me.

He's not robust enough to be a DM in the EPL but also not creative enough to be a playmaker.
(I wonder if Wenger has missed a trick and his best position could actually be at fullback)

Wenger seems to like him more than the less technical Frimpong but personally I much prefer Frimpong. He's stronger, more aggressive and better suited to this league.

yes, but it is true. They aren't called scummers for nothing....The whole town is full of men picking up sailors for £1 a ride & tarts picking up used condoms for recycling purposes. One of the worst holes in the UK tbh.

I like Southampton. It's got its dodgy areas but so has every city. Look at London, it has Tottenham for crying out loud!

Southampton used to be a right ****hole but is alot better these days. (went to Uni there)

Tottenham on the otherhand is worse than ever. While areas like Hackney and Islington have got all trendy and gentrified, Tottenham has remained the arsehole of London.
