Welcome aboard Mickey. I think the Apple has already demonstrated that he is a man of integrity. A lot of managers wouldn't have even come to Pompey when he did, and some of those who would have, may well have decided to throw in the towel when relegation was confirmed. Good luck to the man. I just hope the ownership saga can get sorted and a couple more big earners can be offloaded in time for him to get involved in the transfer market during the summer window!

Appleton is the best thing to happen to Pompey (apart from Avram Grant) in the last decade, hope he is still around in 5 or 6 years time. Heck, I am hoping he is still around in 5 or 6 WEEKS time!
