I take it the transfers will be starting to come in thick & fast now the euro´s are done & dusted. What do you think we are looking at ? A FOR is a must for me, but I´m thinking we need to strenthern all over to really have ago this season.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY THINK we HAVE to get James Chester from Hull because if we don't, we've got no chance of going up.. and I won't be able to sleep at night.

I think we have to get rid of Pearson if we fail to get Chester. I mean, Chester is the future. Without him, we'll never get promoted. Look at all the Prem clubs sniffing round him. The guys gonna be worth £345m of anyone's money. Etc etc. Yawn.

If we dont get chester then i wont be bothered, as he will clearly be at manchester city on about £120k, as he is so so good that every nation is chasing him.

i heard that the only hold up for AVB's tottenham appointment was over an argument about getting the funds available to sign Chester as a player-coach.

Well apparently he is better than Bobby Moore and Franco Baresi, but of course, Steve Walsh is still miles better than him <whistle>

If we sign Chester, it will be another resounding success in the career of John Terry.

    Well let me explain!

James Chester (Chezza to his pals).

He is a Centre back for Hull City he is comfortably the best in his position in the world comparisons to Baresi are laughable, as he is far quicker and much more comfortable on the ball.

Although his shorter than average height for a CB he can jump as high as a skyscraper his marking is exceptional as he only has to drop his shorts and show his backside and blind the opposition with the sun that shines out.

His reading of the game is so good he is a chess grand master, for anyone to believe he is leaving Hull is deluded as he is not money motivated in the slightest and just likes chilling with his pals from his Manu days.

Why would he leave when training is going to get easier marking Emile Heskey!!!

Seriously though he is too good for this league and weather it's with us or not he will playing in the Prem next season.

Sounds like he´s not right for LCFC, we´ve got no one that can cross a ball as high as a skyscraper & as for his bum, if he got that out every game he´d pick up to many yellow cards.

Alot of fans are talking as if its going to free up some huge moneys for warnock but I think it'll be more about getting rid of Bates. I can't see us spending as much money as you did last year and presumably as much as you are this year either

I doubt Clayton would be interested in this and it is a backwards step as you say. He said he was surprised when he was transfer listed and has said in the past he wants to stick with Leeds for a while

All the Jermaine Beckford talk has gone dead. No one is even being linked with him anymore. Maybe we will be stuck with him which isnt the worst thing in the world. What we would have to do is use him more sparingly then last season. If Nigel can sort his attitude out over the summer then he would be a very good player to have but i cant see him changing now

I still thing Beckford and Nugent will score tons of goals with a quality midfield. Hopefully, King will re-find his touch this campaign and Marshall and Danns continue their form from the latter part of the season. I know well also have James, Dyer, Wellens and Drinkwater, but feel we could still do with one more quality midfielder, possibly a winger.

Based on last few games played Neil Danns would be first name on the team sheet for me ... indeed he might not be a bad shout for skipper...
