As other posters have said, we've had a fair share of @rses along the way, yet Wenger has tamed them all and made them into top players. I think a team needs a different array of players, you need passionate players.
Rumours on Twitter suggest we might be interested in Dempsey for about 10million. Liverpool are also interested. Would he be a good acquisition?
I think he's a great player and, whilst maybe not being a regular first starter would be a huge addition to squad depth. He'd teach many of our players how to give their all each game and his versatility would be a real bonus. Whether we'd sign him having already got Podolski and Giroud is another matter. I guess unlike them he can play anywhere in midfield or up front so he gives you options. Can't help think that if we did sign him it would mean we're saying goodbye to someone else. Mind you, this is all twitter ballbags as things stand! We've bigger problems to deal with first with DM, CM and maybe even a RB on the shopping list.

Joel Campbell isn't good enough to fit a role for our team at the moment, so I'd be glad to see him go out for another loan spell on the continent .

Nothing to do with us, but PSG have signed Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli for around £25 Mil. Great signing for them.
According to Jamie Sanderson (very reliable), Joel Campbell has confirmed this news. Did look like he need another season on loan, although I hope he does not become like Vela who had too many loan spells before he came to us.
