    in fairness to all its the squad of the tournament rather than an 11.

    I'd agree on ibrahimovic as he did nothing at all... david silva was on the bench but gomez bossed the group stage... in the end though germany dropped him, cost him the golden boot and gernerally messed thier own tournament up!

    and no... "no i scored 2 v ireland and got on for a while in the final and got a meaningless goal so i get the golden boot" award winner in the squad

    I think it is. Gerrard's best moments came when he was out of position, Cabaye gave solid performances every game, consistent in every aspect.

    To be fair they both played well in all of their games. I think they both deserve their place based on their all round play and not just for the assists and goal.
