...says he's no intention of paying for Lafferty. Why doesn't he just square Rapid Vienna up and everyone's happy? http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/2012/0...-as-kyle-lafferty-agrees-move-86908-23903385/

I concur but, if he gets his way for those that have refused to transfer their contracts, I doubt Everton or anyone else will pay for Naismith. If the Newco can get transfer fees in for these guys, it could be badly needed cash in the coffers.
Does anyone else think Lafferty was trying to pull a fast one? Signing for a club in a Country notorious for their relaxed attitude to international tax laws - maybe he thinks he can avoid paying back any (alleged) EBT's he received? especially as the likelihood HMRC will be going after individual beneficiaries of the previous scheme
But you could have got money for him. Even half a mill would be better than a boot in the baws with a diver's boot?
They're a confused lot Dev. On the one hand, they are insisting that no Rangers fan should hand over any season ticket money to the NewCo as it will end up in the hands of Charles Green. On the other they are bemoaning the players for not moving over to the NewCo and thereby demanding a fee, which will end up in the hands of Charles Green.
...yet hanging off every "word" Bomber utters - a guy who also refused to transfer his contract (obviously, this doesn't apply to all - just the ones daft enough to want to follow Brown).
I thought that the players who played for the regular tax cheaters are now free agents and can go where they want and negotiate signing on frees. I am sure sevco or no body else can get a fee. If Sevco could negotiate a fee then that Idiot Green would not be an idiot as he would have Ibrox, the car park and Murray park and all the players for £5.5 m. If Green had all that he woud sell the players and the Ibrox and Murray in three lots and make a fortune.
