Wtf,Liverpool supporters getting charged more than 'the opposition' AS Roma fans for tickets at Fenway Park. please log in to view this image
****ing playing in a baseball stadium though, I just can't ever wrap my head around it, although FSG will make a killing off it which is good but damn.
I thought of making a new thread for this, but Fabio Aurelio has effectively been ruled out for the remainder of Gremio's season through injury! You couldn't make it up!
So... Uh... Don't know if everyone (or anyone) remembers me, but I'm the OTHER American. Been gone for awhile now, with ROTC dominating my time. Had school, plus Field Training. Just got back from Field Training, so I'm just working towards my degree now. Hopefully back for good. And, uh, Brendon Rogers looks to be an interesting coach, hope he can do Liverpool proud...
http://www.goal.com/en/news/1862/pr...to-hand-andre-villas-boas-70m-transfer-budget, wtf, when did spurs stop being skint??
handing VB a transfer budget of that size looks like a BIG risk and perhaps a sign of desperation. However, perhaps they believe that they can pull the same trick as FSG ie £70 million in from the sale of VdV and Modric (perhaps Bale to?) and £70 million out for new players.
was wondering that actually, net zero spend but reinvesting modric money etc. Bale looks to have signed a 4 year extension so no cash-in from him...
EURO 2012Steven Gerrard is the only English player in the 23-man squad of Euro 2012 named by UEFA, which features 10 of the Spanish team. Goalkeepers: Buffon (Ita), Casillas (Spa), Neuer (Ger). Defenders: Pique (Spa), Coentrao (Por), Lahm (Ger), Pepe (Por), Ramos (Spa), Alba (Spa). Midfielders: De Rossi (Ita), Gerrard (Eng), Xavi (Spa), Iniesta (Spa), Khedira (Ger), Busquets (Spa), Ozil (Ger), Pirlo (Ita), Xabi Alonso (Spa). Forwards: Balotelli (Ita), Fabregas (Spa), Ronaldo (Por), Ibrahimovic (Swe), Silva (Spa). Wayne Rooney was chosen to sell pies at halftime
Bale has signed a new contract - but hey what's a contract worth? But with all of the rumours about vdv and Modric, I think the actual spend is going to be a lot less and nearer to the £30 million that we are supposed to have available. Also some of the target valuations given by goal.com look a bit 'ify' - almost as if they made the fees fit the £70 million headline (surely they woudn't be so devious - would they )
