    Fair enough, sorry I assumed because I was quoted in it. I agree with the comment you made and I think 12 million to improve most areas in team we have to look at some cheap options as the budget will be stretched.

    i think we need to throw the majority of the money at a holding midfielder and a centre forward. if holt goes for £4m (up front) then i think that would give us around £8m to spend on a forward, which isn't bad. if we keep holt then £4m or so to find a foreign gem in all likelihood.

    Chris Burke to join? I'd be happy with that as he has a very good cross and contributed a lot of assists for Brum. Thing is, if they sell everyone people have speculated about leaving, they won't have many senior players and are under a transfer embargo aren't they?

    i certainly don't know for sure but i think the hold up is because they want to make it a double swoop. fact is, there is no hold up, merely the player got excited and was going to tweet about it today. the club will have reigned him in so we wait and see...
