i'd have liked to have been a fly on the wall in that meeting mango! as regards cardiff/hull player i must admit he did look one of there better players when cardiff came down to our place, but again rumours already starting before or hopefully if we gain promotion, but its exciting.

"Maybe they are waiting to see where they are and how many points they're ahead to do what they've got to do," Jones told BBC Sport Wales.

Helguson and Gorkss set for Rangers return

    By Jacob Murtagh/Fulham Chronicle
HEIDAR Helguson and Kaspars Gorkss should return to the starting XI for tomorrow night's clash at Oakwell.

The duo were rested for Saturday's defeat at Sc**thorpe, but are expected to replace Rob Hulse and Danny ****tu as Rangers look to get back to winning ways.

Skipper Adel Taarabt could also return if he gets the green light from the doctor, while defender Matthew Connolly has been drafted into the squad.

And boss Neil Warnock hopes there won't be a repeat of Saturday's horror show at Glanford Park where errors from Clint Hill and Paddy Kenny saw Rangers thumped 4-1.

He said: "Bearing in mind the seasons they have had I'll allow them that. Two of their goals were down to them.

"There's not many times you've heard me say that."

QPR wait on Adel Taarabt injuryApr 11 2011

QPR are sweating on the fitness of Adel Taarabt ahead of tomorrow's trip to Barnsley.

The mercurial Moroccan missed Saturday's drubbing against strugglers Sc**thorpe with a stomach problem.

But the former Spurs star could return at Oakwell if he gets the all-clear from the doctor.

Boss Neil Warnock said: "We're waiting for the doctor's report to decide whether to bring him up by car later today."

I think with helguson and gorkss back I'm not sure we nee AT would be a.bonus don't get me wrong but I would rather have him for the last 4 games I don't think warnock will allow such a defeat again so a tight win for us.

Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers are tracking Barcelona forward Nolito after he rejected a contract extension to stay at the Nou Camp, according to the Metro.

The Barcelona academy graduate has found first-team opportunities hard to come by with players such as Lionel Messi, Pedro, Andres Iniesta, and David Villa standing in his way.

Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu said: "We have offered him a contract extension, but he didn't except it. We would love to keep him at the club, but he has turned us down."

Considering the volume of talent ahead of him at Barca, Nolito may see a move to the Premier League as the ideal alternative.

QPR manager Neil Warnock could see the 24 year-old, who can play either as a central forward or on the flanks, as the perfect addition to compliment creative midfielder Adel Taarabt and add extra flair up front.

Warnock has revealed he is already searching for players as the club looks all but assured of promotion from the Championship and Nolito is said to be on his list.

"I told them (the owners) about the type of player I'm looking for, but I don't want to start talking about the number of players we should bring in until we know where we are," Warnock said.

"We need quite a number of players for the squad though. We need to fill 25 places.

"Obviously players will be leaving as well, but let's get there first before we have a fuller discussion."

Newcastle are also said to be interested in Nolito with the club desperate for forward reinforcements after the £35million January departure of Andy Carroll.

The money received from the Carroll transfer is still available and the St James' Park club have revealed they are ready to invest this summer.

Nolito has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 29 games this season for Barcelona B and is currently valued at around £2million.
