Not sure how this one will go to be honest.

Will the Italians sit back or go out and take Spain on. I hope they do. Hope Mario wins the golden boot too.

    3-2 Italy.

I'm hoping for 1-0 Italy and hopefully not too much cheating from the likes of Busquets. Forza Italia!

I think it will be boring as ****, with the Italians winning 1-0. So after that prediction it will be a thrilling goal fest

I don't want Spain to win, because i don't want one team to win everything.

I don't want Italy to win, because they beat us, and i don't want to hear "oh well we got knocked out by the best team". It means sod all and it's what defeatists say.

Although, i want it to be a good match. 120 minutes of attacking football + penalties will do me.

To be honest I'd rather the team that beat us were crowned champions, but ironic how everybody said ireland were crap, but both teams from that group are in the final.

    Ireland were crap.

Croatia should have beaten Spain. They had some decent chances in that match.

I might be wrong here, but I don't think Spain are keeping the ball that well.

    Not like they usually do.

Oh, and my sweepstake at work says if Italy win, I get £32.

    Come on Italia!

Great goal by Spain. Great run by Jordi Alba.

Liked Pirlo's quote about Italy not winning the cup is like going to Rome and not seeing the Pope.

spain are a different class, have barely got out of 3rd gear all tournament, didnt even start this game that well, just picked them off at will....3 in a row, have to go down as one of, if not the greatest side in history?

3 in a row is the record, isn't it?

I remember France winning the world cup in 98 and winning the euros in 2000, but they haven't won anything since.

Not sure if Brazil, Argentina, Uruaguay or Germany have won 3 back to back.

I just accused Spain of not keeping it that well. I'm full of ****.

Agree with DJ, 3 in a row is astonishing. Peerless, really.

Can't see Italy getting back into this.

Also...skinny tie for Shearer! Quite stylish, I think.
