Wasn't he like 72 to start with for us?! He hasn't improved that much over the year...

Yes, a massive coincidence that he's got a huge tally of 1 cap during his time at Liverpool, while he only had 1 cap while playing for Newcastle.

Scandalous by the FA, they can't even hide their bias!

What I hate is the way Liverpool fans are acting as if he's they've brought him through or something. It's... greasy.

"One Andy Carrroll", errr *shudder* when he played for us he got adoration, but we weren't cracking one off everytime he won a header. I genuinely think he's the next Rooney - currently he's in the stage where he seems like a sound kid, even if it was a bit dodgy how he left us, but in five years people will hate him for being a cock. He's a thug and a chav. Time will prove it

Well put. Every time he wins a bloody header they're cheering like he's scored!

No one's really "cracking one off", look at how you welcomed Shearer, it was because a huge signing for you, same with Carroll.

Shearer obviously had the added attraction of being a local sheet metal worker's ******ed son but still, it's the same thing, people know there's huge pressure attached to the fee of Carroll, especially for him being so young and getting so much **** off the media/press.

It's quite laughable that you, a Newcastle fan, accuse us of getting overexcited over Carroll when this happened not so long ago:

Seems like Liverpool and Aston Villa have a bit of a monopoly on arrogant prick fans lately.

Yeah greet him well and then calm down - as we did with Owen. He's played 6 games and you're still acting as if he's making his debut. He's not. He's a thick lad and really probably doesn't care less about who he's playing for as long as his dolla is rolling in every week. No offence, but it's like the 'Pool fans think they've nurtured him from birth and are protecting him by cheering his flick-ons to nobody.

And if you think he gets **** of the press, you are kidding yourself! He's on the piss every night he can, he hits women and floors anyone who he feels like. He even shagged a few lasses at Nolan's house before waving goodbye to them and their coke-ridden nostrils. He could get a hell of a lot more **** off the press without it being underserved. The reason he doesn't... he's good

It's only a matter of time before he beats up his girlfriend and ends up in prison.

Well actually I think the biggest reason he gets cheered is because there's a lot of pressure from the fee over his head, plus the fact everytime the ball used to go upfield in previous seasons it came right back because Torres made no effort to challenge for it or was simply unable to beat the centre half in the air. Our centre forwards have been bullied out of games for the past 2 years (Ngog & Torres) so it's just nice to see a reversal of that and centre halves being bullied by our forwards instead.

Plus Chelsea fans are doing exactly the same with Torres, it's not as if it's something exclusive to Carroll. I reckon had Ashley spent on another forward and he'd been a hit, like Carroll for us then you wouldn't be bothered about what Carroll is doing, like we're not really bothered about Torres anymore. It was actually a clever PR move by Ashley to not sign a forward, as it means most of your anger is directed towards Carroll instead of Ashley who is the real villain here.

That still doesn't explain the fact that you all have a collective orgasm every single time he passes the ball. Anyways up to you , whatever brings some noise to the library <ok>

Yeah, we usually boo our players when they pass the ball.

Not boo, but not cheer every 5 yard pass...
