Now people may say I'm over reacting a bit but I think were already missing out on some useful players. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18651054 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18611052 Both signed for clubs with lesser wage bills than us. Both would be able to provide great cover and could give us pace and security at the back, two areas in which we had been lacking. thoughts? (by the way does anyone know a website that has the free agents list up?)
yeah i agree mate. but we wont bring anyone in until a manger is in place. the whole manager thing is boring now.
I think you will find Northampton have a bigger budget! They have just sold Michael Jacobs to Derby for £600k
Hoadie- was just my point that because of the manager thing we are now missing out on players gfc- may have a bigger transfer budget but surely not a bigger wage bill?
Well - I don't think that even Acworth is that slow. I'm afraid I can't write using crayons - so I won't be able to make you understand. edit - oxon - can you blame me ?
Personally I don't think the examples listed are ones that are particularly great losses. Demontegnac for one is renowned for having extremely poor discipline, makes Balotelli look like a saint. The new manager will have an idea of the sort of players he wants and will get exactly that. If you cast your minds back to last season and note how late we signed players, I recall everyone getting agitated with the lack of signings. No need to panic, i'm sure the next manager has already been told he is the manager and will be discussing potential transfers already. May I also add that the new manager would be running a risk bringing players in before he has even seen the team in pre-season training. It's ok if you're a manage who already knows the players but for a new one, they need to see what they're working with first.
