I have been having a discussion on the Liverpool board, I am told that Bacary Sagna is often discussed in a negative fashion around here. Why is this? Are some of you stupid? He is by far the best RB in the league, what on earth is wrong with some of you?
It was just one person really. According to him, there was FIVE right backs better than Sagna in the PL alone.
This is about me! I'm 99% sure that several posters were saying he was past it... Admittedly the Arsenal board is often very argumentative and petty, so perhaps these comments just occur and are forgotten?
Nah. Like I said, it was just this one guy that thought he was overrated and said he could name five better (which he refused to do when asked). Some certainly do not rate him as highly as others, but I can't recall anyone else saying he is past it apart from that one guy, who shall remain nameless.
Nope we all rate him here as one of our best players. As SJW said, there was one who claimed 5 others in the Premier league were better than him. Lets just say he isn't around anymore....
I've noticed a distinct lack of argument... Have you banned the person? There was a regular poster that constantly started arguments, what was his name now...
The guy who criticised him (and has now left) was supported by some here, but only in some aspects of what he said. More than one person has said he lacks pace and some doubt his tackling ability. I think they're talking bollocks. He is one of the best right backs in the league, but he had a poor run of form towards the end of last season. I think this was a fitness issue related to a long season that followed a long injury. Some people seem to have very short memories, and let a few bad games colour their entire impression of the player.
Agree with fellow gooners here. Certainly the best right-back in the premier league, and one of our 'World-Class' players.
Sagna is one of the best right backs in the premier league right now, wish we had him at OT we miss Nev but i have hopes Raphael can curb his tendency to dive in (he has cut this out a bit last season) and become as good as Sagna.
Are you an Arsenal fan by any chance ? (guessing from your avatar) If so why are you not posting on the Arsenal board ? You would know Arsenal fan's feelings on the matter if you were. I smell a rat. As for Sagna, I don't think he is as good as is made out, he isn't as good as he was in his first couple of seasons thats for sure, he is still one of the best RBs in the league though, I'd probably only put Richards in front of him.
