I am reliably informed that Pog wasn't even sure where Reading was before leaving Moscow! His agent cut a deal which Fulham would not match. Good luck to him. He has done his important work for FFC. Dear oh dear. The statement was made in regards to the fact they would join US over READING if we WANTED THEM. We are an established Premier League club, they are newly promoted and one of the favorites to go down. The ONLY reason someone would join them over us is higher wages. If both clubs offered the same amount, as Pog's agent wanted, he would have joined us as he wanted to stay here. The three players I suggested were Russia's third choice striker, a League One player and Arsenal's favorite boo boy last season. Hardly delusional to assume we could sign them? I was intending to do just that Bidley, but hey ho it's a slow day. Did you ever wonder why both NORTHOLT and ELLERS use capital letters in their fictitious names ? Is it small trying to be big ? Whatever, a reminder to each may be in order - in internet, bulletin board and chatroom contexts, writing in caps is considered the equivalent of verbally yelling and it's rude to go around yelling at people.
It's a shame this thread has turned out this way. This was intended for FFC and Reading fans to give opinions on the signing of Pogrebnyak, no reference was made to QPR in the title or content of the article so for the life of me I cannot understand why the need to get involved.
