Yes, but why would we pay good money for a player that probably only has two seasons at best left? Players do play to a good age these days, but it usually depends on the their game. Attacking players don't usually get past 35.

Iv never had a bad word to say about NP

Why would I when he rebuilt our team along with his staff.

Just like last season have us both to go up in a bet .

Didn't like how NP left But I would have swapped jobs for double the wages when I was working on the fishing cobbles in brid if given the chance to go on a different boat for more wages.

our fans have both had some ****ty times....

Time for us both be in the premier league and If Swansea and Norwich can do it so can we.

roll on the new season when we can both thrash Leeds and sheff wed , and forest and derby..

    :)

Trying to reason with Leicester fans isn't going to work. There's a sensible few who can keep reasonable and sociable such as Lesta Gangsta.

But as the saying goes. You can polish a turd, but it doesn't change the fact it's a turd.

No point in trying to improve relations between some of the more moronic of the Leicester fans.

And you're one of the more 'moronic' Hull fans, which is why reasonable debate isn't likely to happen.

Scarborough is a strange type, one post is good and reasonable the next is just completely the opposite.

At least he does have that reasonable side in him though, unlike most of the Hull fans on here <ok>

So you think a 2 month old story has legs to it do you ? oh dear.

Glad that you think so. <doh> Its a 2 month old story. ;) The only thing that might be happening is Korens agent making sure that the new contract Nick Barmby promised gets sorted. IF and its a mega IF, Koren was sold this summer it would be far more than £500,000. <ok> FFS, Lesta have still not shifted Mills and Beckford yet.!! :emoticon-0111-blush

He would without question. You dont have anyone as good as Robbie Koren. :1980_boogie_down:

Old news - re-hashed as the market is quiet overall.

He could but he wont....Unless of course no new contract is forthcuming at Hull and he will be stuck in the reserves. That is about as likely as Messi signing for Lesta.

That is an art that you have perfected into perfection. ;) Well done. Glad you can do something correct. :emoticon-0116-evilg

31 or 32 so what ? If your good enough then age does not matter. Sadly Koncheskey and Wellens are now way past there sell by dates. Send them both to Coventry if you dont need them.

Actually we can. The Allams are richer than your booze buster owners. Look at the rich list of champtionship club owners.

No we have someone better. Ben Marshall

It doesnt matter who is richer, it mattes who spends more money and our owners win hands down. While Vichai's personal wealth it estimated to be around 150M, King Power is estimated to be worth 3 BILLION

So it sort of blows you lot out the water

Glad you think so on both matters. We could afford Nugent if we wanted him and If you think that Ben Marshall is that good then you need to look again.

Yeah because being able to afford Nugent is how you measure how rich clubs are <doh>

Ben Marshall is better then anything you have,

I understand we're about to bid £350k for Marshall.

I doubt it will be enough, but you never know, it might turn his head and make him want to put in a transfer request.

I hate to admit it but Ben Marshall is one of the best young players I've seen in a long time - I wish we had him TBH

He was fairly pivotal in our 2000 League Cup run, but I suppose you can't play at Leicester's level forever so Hull will do for him.

Exactly, the problem with him is that he never 'adds content' to his posts <laugh>

Wow, that's a lot of work just to say "Koren's going nowhere". Are you trying to convince yourself, I wonder? And Ben Marshall is already better than Koren and has about ten years on him. Obviously it depends how Pearson would use the two, but if it came down to one or the other, Marshall would definitely be picked.

so if marshall is better than koren and pearson would play marshall ahead of koren - why waste how ever much money on a player over 30, who you won't get any money from selling on?
