You can do it to about 4 or 5 days, after that it's pure guesswork to try to predict it much beyond the accuracy of "summer will be warmer than winter". As for global warming, isn't the reason it's not the term used in the news any more (climate change being the new descrption) because the Earth has been cooling? Either way, as we're still technically in an ice age we've not exactly pushed the earth anywhere near the limits yet.
