I am intrigued by your comment and would like to try and understand the rationale behind it! Can you explain why being 'bent' or 'spastic' would have any bearing on my original post? Are you insinuating that being gay or spastic (whatever it is you mean by that term) somehow limits a persons intelligence, or makes them irrational with their viewpoint? I am neither of those things, but if I was I would consider your comment and the implied suggestion that went with it to be hugely offensive. Anyway, your comment says more about you I think, it was embarrassing to read and typical of the replies that are written on this board at times, i.e. childish, inane and imo an embarrassment to the proper United 'users' on this forum.
Blaming United players eh. Just more evidence that everyone in England is more than aware that Uniteds player are vastly superior to the dross at other clubs in England. Its why you depend on our players so much.
Yeah okay mate! I suppose that Young and Rooney in your eyes lit up the England team at Euro 12! They both stank the place out with their dire performances, and that is a fact!
I presume you came on here to wum because your orignal post is rediculous. Are you claiming that because Ashley young missed his penalty he is the reason that we didn't succed or because Ashley young was started in all of the games. Would you really rather we have downing start? after a whole season in the premier league with Liverpool he couldn't score a goal and i cant be ****ed to check but i reckon he got 2 assists at the most all season in the league, would he have been a better choice? I reckon this applies to your orginal post Just replace United with whichever club is unfortunate enough to have you as a supporter.
A supporter of suarez and KKK the buffoon so he is a ******ed scouser c*nt who comes here only to WUM
Any player can miss a penalty. Alonso is a tremendous player and did so. Young in particular has been given a lot of stick for playing so undeniably below par in all four games. Cole hasn't been given much stick because he played well in all four, as did the rest of the defence. It's not an anti-United conspiracy.
But those players still played well overall, especially given the antiquated system used which left them too often outnumbered. Keeping the ball isn't the sole job of a midfield player, as much as people **** themselves to oblivion over Spain.
Its not the sole Job but its an extremely important one if you want to win games and create chances, they never make space for each over, someone needs to teach them some simple pass and move.
Your heat maps unfortunately don't show a player's tendency to bottle out of a challenge or do any of the things he can do with ease for his club. Hodgson's teams rarely have marauding full-backs and both Cole and Johnson did what was required of them. Young didn't hence he's been heavily criticised and rightly so.
Nope but your obvious disappointment shows you were banking solely on United players. The reason is simple, Uniteds english players are vastly superior to the other players so you rely on them to do all the work. Least thats how its made out after every **** international comp.
Your idea of well and United fans idea of well is a totally different thing. Like how we think finishing second is failure and Wigan or QPR think 17th is as good as winning the league.
I beg to differ, the midfield failed to hold on to the ball for more than a couple of passes ending with a long clearance, and when they did hit it long (especially Gerrard) it was very rarely aimed at anybody which meant the ball came straight back putting the team under a lot of avoidable pressure even against average sides. Most of the team played poorly, Milner, who was apparently in the team to support Johnson defensively, was constantly in center midfield leaving Johnson exposed, that wing was an out ball for every team we played. Young had a terrible tournament, the manager should of seen this and made a change. Rooney was poor too, but he and Welbeck got very little supply or support, if Roy wanted to play like Stoke he picked the wrong lineup. The entire defensive unit deserve a special mention for how easily they were ripped apart time and time again, they were extremely lucky not to concede a lot more goals throughout the entire tournament, especially against Italy who's should of had at least 3 or 4 goals, probably more, if not for some shocking finishing.
England did better than expected but not one player played well. Playing well as in to the standards they play at for their clubs. This is because most players involved dont play a defensive formation at club level, they are more open and more flexible. In Spain and Germany they look at how players perform for their clubs and set themselves up to get the best out of the best players. In england its asif the england manager, whoever it is at the time pays no attention to what players do at there clubs.
